Rob Ebel
Rob has been around horses his whole life, beginning riding ponies and onto to the higher levels of the hunter and jumper divisions. He has many years of experience with ponies, juniors and freelancing as a teacher and rider.

Rob has been intrumental in creating a high quality training program at Summit Oak Farm since 1994. He designed the farm with both riders and horses needs in mind. "I wanted to create an environment that is hands-on and low stress. We are like a family, we work hard together and support each other", says Rob. As the pro at Summit Oak, Rob will individualize your riding program suited to your needs and abilities, always striving to make learning fun. Rob believes equitation is the base needed for all levels of riding. He says, "With a strong base, you can always move forward."

Rob has a great sense of how to make you and your horse work best together. He has a uncommon ability to match horse and rider. Rob believes that like humans, horses have their own personalities. Rob says, "When a horse and rider work together it creates a bond that can't be matched."

Rob travels throughout the United States and Canada as well as Europe to shop for horses for individual clients and sale horses. In Europe, Rob has contacts in The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. He visits farms and carefully shops for horses that match his client's riding ability and personality.
