The training program at Summit Oak Farm is exceptional for both horse and rider.

We are happy to work with all levels of riders. The trainers at the farm have experience working with children and adult riders. Our instruction is usually on a one-to-one basis, in which the rider gets individual attention throughout the session. Riders may be grouped together to benefit from each other with the assistance of their coach.

We train horses for specific riding abilities. The trainers will talk with you about your horse's ability and training needs. Together, a plan will be made and the trainers will work to accomplish your goal. Accomplished riders will find the experienced coaches motivated to help you reach your maximum ability.

Summit Oak Farm is an outstanding facility. There is a large ring, 70' x 200', is heated for winter and provides an optional ring for inclement weather. The indoor footing is non-slip and treated for a dust-free environment.

The barn is heated in winter and has a modern ventilation system that provides great air circulation in the winter and summer. The stalls are 12' x 12', each with a large window. Every area of the farm is well-lit which makes it especially pleasant in the winter when the days are short. There is a separate tack-up area, tack room, washer/dryer and bathroom with a shower. The pastures are wood-panelled with automatic water systems.

Summit Oak Farm has a full-time, live-in groom that provides quality care for each horse. The horses are hand-lead to and from the pastures and have the appropriate outerwear for their protection and safety.
